Met leder overtrokken dashboard ook!!
(Is dat duurzaam genoeg voor een dashboard, gaat dat niet met de jaren verkleuren?)

Retegeile bak... ik zou zo'n TBI wel eens willen testrijden.

Over de Brera TBI vs. Audi TT TFSI:

It was put on the Dyno and produced ~170BHP at the wheels (not flywheel). In comparison with a 211HP 2.0L TFSI Audi TT the torque and power is significantly better until 5.500 rpm compared to the VW engine. After 5500 the VW is better. But for all reasonable rpms the TBi excels despite being 250cc smaller.

However, despite the advantage of the TBi over the TFSi, the Brera is 250-300Kg heavier than the Audi...

A refreshing twin test and the 159 has won!

Fair test, but second commenter has it on the button:

"You mention several times the Exeo looks dated since it is based on the previous A4, the one revised in 2005, same year Alfa presented the 159 and BMW the new 3 series. On another review here dated 2007, you present the 3 series vs C class vs Audi A4 (B7) vs Alfa 159. All of them (including the A4 B7) came on top of the Alfa 159 back then. Now, this Exeo seems to be an improved version of that A4 B7, with a common rail engine, and cheaper, and now it comes under the Alfa Romeo.

So here are my questions: 1. How come the Alfa was the worst back then and now against an "A4" with a more advanced engine it is better? 2. Why an interior (Exeo/A4 B7) that was fantastic two years ago now it's so dated?

Is it the rings? no matter what, if it's got 4 rings (or it is German) it is better than any Alfa Romeo, if not, then we'll do a proper test. Sorry pal, but looks like it."

The 2007 test

One point they didn't mention: if you add leather upholstery to the tested Seat to match the 159's specification, the price difference is only £100. I thought SEAT were supposed to be cheap?
