Gezocht - Independent garage nabij Leuven

Hi,

I'm new to Belgium, and would rather not trust my still limited Nederlands to writing forum posts Feel free to reply in Nederlands though, as I am from South Africa, I can read it OK.

I've bought a 2007 Volvo V50 D5 Geartronic, and it needs some work done. I normally work on my own cars, but my tools are still in the container on the way here, and I go not have a garage.

I'm looking for a garage that can replace the brake master cylinder and the steering rack, as the car passed keuring with these items needing replacement somehow. Does anyone know of a garage with honest intentions and good pricing around Leuven that can help with this kind of work?

Why not a regular Volvo garage? For exemple Lacom?

Honestly, I don't know. From ZA, dealers are heavily overpriced. I'd rather pay a man a fair price for his time and work, than pay for nice lights and a showroom that I am not getting any benefit from.

Add to the fact the car is not worth a lot, I really don't want to overcapitalize on repairs.

You can try Car Zone in Aarschot, it is not too far from Leuven. I have no experience with them though.
