Richard "Beebo" Russell - Often referred to in the media as "Sky King" or "Air King," Richard Russell was a Horizon Air ground service agent who stole a Bombardier Q400 airplane from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on August 10, 2018. He flew the plane for about an hour before crashing it on Ketron Island in Puget Sound. His actions and the subsequent conversation with air traffic control were widely publicized. Russell did not have a pilot's license but had basic knowledge of aircraft operations from his job.
