Clio 197 - Antwerp Mechanic Advise?

Hi Guys,

I'm new here and only speak English (from Ireland).

I am living in Antwerp and drive a 2008 197 Renault Clio. I am looking for a good mechanic locally to work on the car, someone who is specialists in Renault and/or performance cars.
I stopped past Renault itself in North Antwerp but I wasnt very impressed when the guy at the service desk had never heard of a 197 Clio and couldn't help me at all.

Any advice appreciated.

Hi Brendan, you might try garage Ooms in Wilrijk. This is a family-run dealership, and the "old (father)" Ooms used to be an Alpine specialist (now he's more into old MG's). So I presume they have a little affinity with sportscars...

Thanks for your help Elio, I had provisionally booked the car in with M&M Services in Wilrijk, but will certainly give Garage Ooms a call and see if I can get them to do the work instead. On another note, can you recommend any large car parts and accessory shops in or near Antwerp, or online? Somewhere I can buy some garage tools, hydraulic jack, axle stands etc. I think my lack of dutch isnt helping in my Google searches haha
