The Subaru Legacy 3.0R (known as Liberty in Australia) has received the Special Award in the “2004 Automobiles Top 10 Judgement�, sponsored by the Chinese “Auto World (Car and You)� magazine.
Each year, the entire editorial staff of the magazine select 10 top cars from among all those test driven.
The cars are selected on criteria including performance, innovation and popularity.
This year, the Legacy 3.0R was highly rated in the performance, design and price areas.
As the only All-Wheel Drive among all the cars, the Legacy was given the Special Award, which is equivalent to having been selected among the top 10 cars.
This is a remarkable achievement considering Subaru only entered the Chinese market six months ago.
It is also proof that Subaru sales have begun favourably in China, a leading
growth market in the world.
