Boy, is de M3 goedkoop in de States 61k dollar = € 50k.
Geweldig anoniem, maar zoals ik het lees is de motor upgrade niet echt de moeite(?).

Even if we can’t make it go as fast as it should, the S3-R M3 still offers Porsche perform*ance, albeit at Porsche prices. For those who prefer their speed served Bavarian style, Dinan has something to lust after.

Vraagje, voor $100.000 kom je uit op een uitgeruste Carrera S. Verschilt de performance van een M3 zo sterk met dat van de Carrera S?

De kleur is schitterend, maar de zwarte velgen had ik liever in gunmetal gezien.

Wat is juist het verschil tussen Competition-wielen en GTS-wielen? Kan je die GTS-wielen ook apart krijgen?

Normaal niet zo'n liefhebber van estoril blauw, maar 't is wel gedurfd.

Hij is een van de eerste die de velgen heeft blijkbaar!

Question: Aren't you supposed to fit wider rubber than 245/265 on those wheels? Are those GTS wheels identical to the ZCP's (1/2" wider, or 9 and 10") except the color? Thought GTS wheels were 1" wider, rather than 1/2", but maybe I'm wrong. Either way, stock tires are too stretched even on ZCP wheels IMO. And finally, are they forged, or also cast, like the ZCPs? I personally wouldn't pay anything extra for heavier wheels, but that's just me. Looks great though.

The GTS wheels are exactly the same as the ZCP wheels, other than the finish.

Mark, I know it's easier said than done, but I would highly recommend up sizing your tires. I got 255f and 275r for my ZCP 359M and RG63 wheels, both of which are the same exact size as your GTS wheels.

The actual M3 GTS has even wider tires on the rear (285 I think).

The wheels are exactly the same spec as the silver ones - 9" front, 10" rear and will be fitted to the GTS until there's enough produced to give them a part number and farm them out as an accessory wheel. Not forged unfortunately.

I asked for larger tires but M Div absolutely refused because of the EDC programming that goes with the Comp. Pkg. I BEGGED for the OEM GTS tires (the Pirelli's which are 285 rear and 255 front) but again and again, the answer was "no". BMW was nice enough to include the tires with the rims because of the production delay so I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. You guys and everyone else is right though....these rims, particularly the fronts, deserve at least 255's. There's absolutely no room for error in parking the cars with the 359 rims and the stock-sized front tires. I'll upgrade later 'cause I know it'll make a heck of a difference.
