Ik meen mij te herinneren, als ik mij niet vergis dat die toen op het autosalon stond voor 5 miljoen belgische frank.

Het blijft wel echt een knappe en toch wel vrij unieke bak!

ze behouden dan toch serieus hun waarde(duurste in Be staat 114000eu met 45d km),als ze er vanaf geraken tenminste want in die prijscategorie zou ik toch nooit voor een z8 gaan

The Entry Performer

BMW X1 M 35i xDrive : M Performance.

In preparing the Life Cycle Impulse for the BMW X1 a car that is still Europe's best selling All wheel drive vehicle as well as a huge seller for BMW, so much so that the North American market has been denied the opportunity twice due to strong demand across europe.

Sensing the opportunity to not only bring the X1 with the latest improvements, it will also be the opportunity to launch the BMW M Performance brand in the US. As the M Performance X5 and X6M50d will not come to the US market as well as the M550dxDrive and M550dxDrive Touring.

Another vehicle the US will miss out on will be the imminent BMW M135i which arrives first as a 3dr and 5dr Sporthatch and then with additional xDrive. Since the more US friendly Coupe and Cabrio models of the next generation are still someway off.

Which means that at the current time BMW do not have an official "M Performance" product for the US Market.

With the US finally to receive the Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) of the BMW X1 when it appears in the 4th quarter of this year. It will not only introduce the compact big selling SAV to the North American market with award winning, outstanding and efficient four cylinder twin-turbo power, but will also introduce the BMW M Performance brand to the US with a Six Cylinder turbo BMW X1 M35i xDrive (or X1 xDriveM35i as it may be called).

Conceived like the BMW M135i Sporthatch. The X1 M35i xDrive will feature the same engine displacement of 320 bhp as well as an M tuned chassis and reworked suspension promising excellent sport-orientated dynamics. A refreshed aerodynamic package will bring the M Performance style of the Sporthatch to the X1. As do specific alloys and M Performance features such as specific seats and trim.

And like the M135i Sporthatch, the X1 M35i xDrive will be the flagship model for the X1. A full blown M model could not find a proper business case.

This puts the X1 M35i to compete against the forthcoming Audi q3 S-Performance model.

Although the M Performance model is one highlight of the refreshed LCI X1, subtle changes bring the car up-to-date. Such as the typical update to the car's lighting involving LEDs and daytime running lights.

With the X1 being the most sporting looking SAV even amongst the bland anoymous Audi q3. The X1 will receive some restyled aerodynamics at the front and rear incorporating reprofiled intakes , new wheel options and new color choices. And Bringing the X1 into line with the 1er the X1 will also feature specifc model lines.

In the interior - the first term mistakes are corrected with visible higher quality materials and latest technology options.

For Europe BMW will add two new diesel models at the entry and higher end of the X1 - An updated X1 "EfficientDynamics"edition promising under 120g/km of CO 2. and a new X1 xDrive25d.

Given BMW's success with the first diesel X5 in the North American market and BMW's insistence to further diesel progress in the US. It is likely that the first four cylinder diesel in the US will be the X1 xDrive25d.

Als ik me niet vergis, was dat op de kop af 5.055.000 BEF incl. BTW.

Ze zijn al terug aan 't stijgen, inderdaad. En dat zal niet meer stoppen. De goedkope die je vindt hebben vrij veel km en lijden (vaak) aan de verbuigen van de voorbouw (alu plooit onder invloed van zeer sportief weggedrag + klappen in putten/curbstones van de loodzware standaardwielen met runflats).

Dat heb ik nooit gezien, maar ik heb 't visueel voor me vanop de overzichtsprijslijst van alle BMW-modellen.

Vind de kleur (van de auto) wel nog mooi.

Mat zwart kan ik nog altijd niet smaken, maar die mat grijze vind ik op foto niet mis, en bij Monserez Aalbeke #mustgoandsee een mat zilveren M3 live gezien. Heeft wel iets!

De lichten -> da's zo weer geswapt. Niks ergs aan dus, toch? Als die peet dat nu graag ziet...

Op een jaar terugverdiend (als hij blijft bollen).
Alleen is het verbruik niet laag genoeg.

Het is geen koopje maar je krijgt toch veel waar voor je geld (onderhoudsboekje, 1ste eigenaar, mooie optielijst,...). Je vind al E39's rond €2000, maar in de mate dat die te betrouwen zijn (?)... Rond €2500 zijn er ook al veel te vinden maar die hebben weinig opties of al veel kilometers. Rond €3000 - 4000 zijn gangbare prijzen.

Niemand die dit weet? Of gaat het hier alleen over de nieuwere modellen?

Eerst en vooral is het moeilijk om te weten wat echt "Racing Dynamics" is, en wat niet. Er is namelijk de hele hassle met de in de USA door een "pirat company" geregistreerde naam, waardoor de echte firma (met zetel in Italië) onder die naam niks kon commercialiseren aldaar. Wel onder de naam racdyn, als ik me niet vergis. Check wiki, daar staat eea te lezen.
Ik heb ook de indruk dat na de opstart in Europa en het verkopen van wat spoilerkits en (knappe) velgen, het merk eigenlijk nooit groter geworden is dan een tunersmerk dat (mogelijks met goeie kennis oh vlak van techniek) af en toe ook enkele powerkits en motorupgrades bracht.

Ze hebben voor de V10 van de M5 en de M6 en voor de V8 van de M3 ook veelbelovende kits uitgebracht (stroker kits, nl. 5,7 liter voor de V10 en 4,6 liter voor de V, tenminste toch in theorie. Er zouden er maar weinig komen, en uiteindelijk vind je er zo geen.

Wat er in het verleden is gebracht... geen idee. Ook al stamt het uit de tijd dat ik met m'n neus op BMW & affiliates zat. Wat je quotet, zie ik voor 't eerst. Veel kans dat 'ie is gemaakt (als de bron legit is, en ik heb geen redenen om eraan te twijfelen), maar nog meer kans dat er maar enkele zullen geweest zijn of misschien zelfs een one-off...

Veel mist rond het bedrijf, zeker in Europa. Veel dingen werden ontwikkeld in Europa, de laatste 10 jaar, maar waren bijna enkel in de States verkrijgbaar. Ook logisch: daar kan alles, terwijl 't in Europa veel moeilijker is om je auto straatlegaal met van die dingen te gaan uitrusten. Plus: de markt voor een 25k EUR excl. tax kostende stroker kit voor een M5, is in de USA veel groter dan in Europa. En dan zullen ze 't daar ook moeilijk hebben om op te boxen tegen (ginder) gevestigde namen als Dinan, b.v.
