It's cross-country pace isn't that far off the previous generation M3, and it's every bit as tactile. In every control interface you can feel the painstaking care that went into its development. Just one example - heel and toeing. The pedals couldn't be better placed or more ideally weigted, so rocking the sole of your foot through downchanges couldn't be more intuitive. This is one regular BMW that can wear its M-sport kickplates without looking daft."
