De Audi TT heeft een dramatisch verkoop jaar achter de rug in Nederland, in 2017 zijn er slechts 6 TT's in wat voor uitvoering dan ook verkocht.
De kans is echter groot dat dit allemaal TT RS-en betreft.
Ook wereld wijd houd het niet over wat betreft TT verkoop cijfers, het zelfde geld voor de R8.
Dit geeft ook weer voer aan het gerucht dat er geen 4de generatie TT zou komen i.v.m. de slechte verkoop cijfers,
Het verhaal gaat dat de TT dan vervangen wordt door een goedkopere A3 Coupe, die dan ook het elimineren van de 3-deur A3 op moet vangen.There are Pretenders among us.....
