The Audi crossover news continues as our spies have snapped the first photos of the 2017 Q5.
Dressed in swirly camouflage, the crossover has an evolutionary front fascia with a wide grille that is flanked rectangular headlights and familiar looking air intakes. We can also see door mounted mirrors, a sloping roof and a prominent shoulderline. Out back, there's a tailgate-mounted spoiler and a dual exhaust system which is integrated into the rear bumper.
Audi has been tight-lipped about the model but it will ride on the MLB Evo platform that underpins the A4 and Q7. This should enable the model to be significantly lighter than its predecessor.
Engine options will likely echo the 2016 A4 so expect an assortment of familiar four- and six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.
