Mick Walsh: Glorious day with two spectacular Ferraris. Borrowed Autocar's F430 for a blast to the Cotswolds to meet the magnificent 375MM Pininfarina coupé. Both are ultimate road cars of its era but I came home totally infatuated by the classic and unconvinced by the modern's appeal. Outrageously fast, but way too wide, the F430 demands a track to really appreciate, while the 375 was so seductive in every respect. And for noise - V8 blat or V12 roar, there's no contest.
Ferrari branding says everything about each age of Maranello - single badge on the front of the 375, and 10 externally on the F430! No question which I'll dream about tonight...
